Media Lab: Storytelling
Please find below all the materials to teach the Media Lab: Storytelling curriculum activity to your students, including:
A teaching guide, to provide a step-by-step guide on how to teach the Storytelling curriculum activity, in PDF format,
A student workbook, for your students to use as they undertake the Storytelling curriculum activity, in PDF format,
Three study guides about the following stories, to help students analyse, or interpret, each story and better understand which elements make it a story one wants to keep reading:
'In a Bamboo Grove' by Ryunosuke Akutagawa (short written story)
'The Bat-Women of Koitabu' by Raho Hitolo (short written story)
Chicken by Alana Hicks (short film)
An optional additional storytelling activity on Memorable Moments that will help students build material for future stories, best undertaken after completing the study guides.
